Hi Everyone!
Panda and myself will be participating in Animal Aid's Adventure Dog - Cross Country Challenge on the 5th of April 2020 for the third year in a row!
But we’ve decided to team up with Jamie and his Golden Retriever, Archie.
We will be participating together as ‘Team Panda’.
What is involved?
We will take part in a 25+ obstacles, 4 km adventure course at Wandin Park Equestrian Centre. This cross country track will include swimming and trudging through mud and water, running up and down hills and uneven terrain, throwing ourselves through logs, jelly pits and other terrifying obstacles designed to test our fitness and teamwork as we tackle each obstacle together.

Why are we doing it?
The Adventure Dog - Cross Country Course is in support of Animal Aid located in Coldstream, Animal Aid is an open-door shelter that never refuses an animal in need, they believe that all pets deserve the safety and comfort of a loving home, their staff and volunteers treat all animals in their care with respect and dignity.
Animal Aid also works to reunite lost pets with their owners and does not put healthy, adoptable animals to sleep based on space, time or financial pressures, as they don't receive government funding and rely entirely on donations to run their shelter.
Panda, Archie, Jamie and I are excited for this experience and challenge the event will bring this year. Who doesn’t love getting covered in mud and spending time with your best friend !
Completing this mud race for the last two years has definitely been an amazing experience, I’m excited to share it with my team this year as we make more memories together.

Animal Aid (Victorian Animal Aid Trust)
Animal Aid is an animal welfare organisation dedicated to the care of all stray and surrendered animals. Each year Animal Aid cares for and rehomes thousands of companion animals in Victoria, including cats and dogs, pocket pets and small livestock. Animal Aid receives no government funding and relies on the generous donations and assistance provided by the local community.
We believe that all animals deserve the safety and comfort of a loving home and we aim to provide that opportunity to every animal that comes through our doors; whether that be through reuniting a lost pet with their owners, or finding a new forever home for an abandoned animal.
